Unlike arcade mowers that start automatically on throttle input, the riding mower in One More Lawn uses a physical, point-and-click cockpit dashboard. Every solo shift and 6-player co-op session begins in the Front Yard starter lawn so crews can master the four-step ignition and bagging loop before opening the gate to Elvira's Backyard.
Climb onto the riding mower seat, look directly at the lower-right dashboard ignition key, and hold the interact button until the starter motor cranks and the engine catches. Flip the headlight switch for dusk visibility or press the horn to signal co-op teammates.
Check the physical deck height lever on the right fender and set it to the exact 5 cm notch required by Elvira. Once calibrated, flip the dashboard blade switch to spin the mower deck and pick up loose grass clippings as you drive.
