Map Editor Tool Atlas & Terrain Specification Ledger

Every tool in the One More Lawn Map Editor connects directly to the game's physical mowing, trimming, and water-hazard systems. When you paint mowable grass, sculpt steep hills, or dig deep water ponds, the custom contract inherits the exact same blade-height detection, wagon-towing physics, and engine-flooding rules used on official jobs like Julio's Country House, Rubén's Golf Course, and Marcela's Island.

4-Step Custom Lawn Creation, Test Drive & Steam Workshop Workflow

STEP 01 · PAINT TURF & SAND ZONES

Lay Out Mowable Grass, Sand Traps & Pathways

Start with a blank plot and use the terrain brushes to paint thick mowable grass, golf-style sand bunkers, dirt borders, and stone walkways. Mixing narrow turf corridors with wide open lawns gives both the Riding Mower and handheld String Trimmer clear roles in co-op, while paved walkways and dirt service roads provide high-traction lanes for hauling linked Dump Wagons back to the trash container.

STEP 02 · SCULPT HILLS & DIG PONDS

Add Elevation Changes & Water Hazards

Use the elevation brush to raise hills or carve sunken basins filled with water. Just like Marcela's Island and Rubén's golf course pond, deep water in custom maps will drown the riding mower engine if a driver slides off the bank. Steep hills also challenge three-speed manual gear control and steering wheel setups when towing heavy grass bag loads.

STEP 03 · PLACE FENCES, TREES & 47 GNOMES

Build String Trimmer Borders & Gnome Gauntlets

Place perimeter fences and trees to force precision edging, then populate the lawn with ceramic garden gnomes—up to 47 gnomes as highlighted on the official Steam store page—so crews must either steer with surgical precision or relocate gnomes by hand before engaging the mower deck blades.

STEP 04 · CLICK TEST DRIVE & PUBLISH

Ride Your Lawn Immediately & Share on Steam Workshop

Hit the Test Drive button inside the editor at any time to drop directly onto the riding mower seat, turn the ignition key, and test your sightlines, fence clearances, and slope gradients in real time. Once every turf zone and obstacle feels right, publish the lawn to Steam Workshop so solo players or 6-player online co-op lobbies can subscribe and mow your creation together.
